Reading Response

I thought this picture was a cute depiction of semi-colon usage.

I read the article on seven grammar mistakes, and I can see the mistakes I make reflected in the article. I understand how the author explains fixing the mistakes, but I don't know how to remember all of the rules. The article is helpful, but I don't think I will retain any of the solutions. Definitely I make semi-colon mistakes in the papers I write, but I don't fully understand how to know when to use them and when to not. The author talked about pronoun problems, and I was slightly confused. Sometimes you write with "fred and me", and sometimes,"fred and I".
